Contribuiți la feedbackWe love this restaurant. The only restaurant with authentic beignets in this area! The lobster bisque is delicious. My favorite is the redfish bienville. My husband loves the fried catfish. The cajun pasta is delicious also. Highly recommend! This is one of our go to restaurants in Greenville!
Maybe the best fried oysters that I have eaten. Cool vibe in downtown Greenville which in itself is a great town to visit. A river runs through it, Greenville that is. Very pretty downtown area. Go see it! Parking: If you are there at a busy time, it will be hard to find a parking spot. We parked 4 blocks from Main St. and it was ? for walking.
The food was enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp and grits, as I don't like spicy food, and neither does Boo. We were meeting my brother and his family, who love spicy dishes—the more spice, the better! Unfortunately, most of the menu leaned towards spicy to very spicy options. I had to ask the waitress for assistance because I wanted pasta, but she warned me it was spicy. To play it safe, I chose the shrimp and grits instead. They were excellent, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I was pleased with my choice. Boo had something in a bowl that I can't quite recall, but he enjoyed it (it was jambalaya). As an appetizer, we ordered alligator bites. They were tasty but not very plentiful, which was unfortunate given that my five-year-old little redhead devoured them quickly. I told her they tasted like chicken, and after trying one, she ended up putting most of them on her plate. That was fine; we didn't mind sharing. My sister-in-law, a vegetarian, ordered a variety of different dishes, while my brother opted for something spicy. Little Red had chicken tenders with fries. The seating was quite cramped, with tables very close together in a small space, and there were quite a few televisions around. While the food was good, I wouldn't choose to return primarily because of the predominance of spicy dishes. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu with crayons. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchairs or walkers.
The food was top-notch! Having root beer in a bottle was definitely a nice touch.
This has become one of our favorite seafood restaurants in the Southeast. Located in downtown Greenville, it offers a fantastic view of the bustling city streets. The ambiance and atmosphere are on par with any top-notch restaurant, but the charming low country brick decor truly captivates. Now, let's talk about the food—what a delightful surprise! To start, they offer a gumbo sampler for guests to try, which is a nice touch. We indulged in grilled oysters and the fried seafood platter, featuring shrimp, oysters, and flounder—absolutely outstanding! The drink menu was impressive, and the prices were very reasonable. We also tried their beignets; while not quite New Orleans style, they were still delicious. If you're in Greenville and have a craving for excellent seafood, this place is an absolute must-visit!
