The Community Tap - Greenville

A long-time favorite of mine, The Community Tap features an outstanding selection of craft beers, available both on draft for enjoying on-site and packaged in cans or bottles for take-home. They also offer a well-curated wine selection, along with a variety of ciders and seltzers for those who prefer something different. While there’s no full kitchen, they do provide a selection of small snacks and cheeses to complement your drink, and food trucks are regularly present most evenings. Despite the impressive drink offerings, the true highlight of The Community Tap is its staff. They are always friendly and possess a remarkable ability to educate customers without any hint of condescension. Their knowledge of the products is exceptional. Zach, Neil, and Kelsey have consistently guided me well, and I genuinely wish I had the time to mention every team member. The Community Tap is truly a cornerstone of Greenville’s craft beer scene.

Great place to go and hangout with friends, get yourself some pretzels to snack on

I’ve been to both locations, solid people, good vibe, great selection. Last time I went, they were sampling sandwiches from Harry’s hoagies and watching Philadelphia play, so it was a very good day.

My family introduced me to Community Tap years before we relocated here, and I truly commend their growth, service, and professionalism. With an impressive selection, excellent service, a great wine club, engaging events, and delicious food trucks, there’s no better place in North Main!

To be honest, we visited for a sake tasting, so my review might be influenced by that. It's a charming little place with ample parking nearby, plus outdoor seating and plenty of space. The private event area was very accommodating for our group. The beer selection was impressive. The service was decent, although not exceptional, and surprisingly slower than what I've experienced at other locations. If you're a fan of beer or wine (and hopefully sake in the near future), I recommend checking it out.
