Tasty Soul Food And - Greenville

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be returning. I ordered the meatloaf plate and it was delicious! The meat was well seasoned, the fried okra was excellent, and the yams were fantastic. My husband ordered the party wings and he really enjoyed them. The restaurant is kid-friendly as they play music which is a plus! It helps keep the kids entertained and gives you some peace while you eat.

On the positive side, the food is served quickly and the cakes are amazing. The restaurant is clean and well-organized. However, the atmosphere feels unwelcoming and it seems like you are in the way. This will be my first and last time dining here. I spent over $30 on my meal for my client, but the food quality and customer service were very disappointing. The oxtails were not tender, the greens were too sugary, and they added extra fees to the bill. Although I left a tip, I will not be returning. The restaurant could benefit from customer service training to improve their overall success.

I absolutely loved everything I ordered at this restaurant. The Crocker fish was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. The Mac-n-cheese was full of flavor and had a perfect texture. The greens were delicious, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the savory taste of the collards. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had, with a crispy texture and a great pairing of flavors. What I loved most about my soul food meal was that it wasn't greasy like most fried foods can be. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal.

The food was not as appetizing as it has been in the past. Also the person at the register is usually focused on other things as opposed to the customers. This was my last meal.

Went there yesterday to get lunch.Fried pork chop and okra were both extremely salty,my little piece of cornbread was already crumbled, the macaroni was definitely a few days old,the collard greens were just ok.Definitely not worth $16.79.I have never written a review on a restaurant that's how terrible it was. Highly disappointed.
