Shogun Japanese - Greenville

This place is very clean and has amazing food! The employees are very sweet and respectful. I highly recommend this place to anyone willing to try Japanese cuisine! Parking: Parking is very easy to find and free Kid-friendliness: There are chairs for babies and free sweets after dining

The food was great hot , finally a restaurant I went to that doesn’t flare up my allergies my friend ordered the raw sushi a side salad enjoyed that too.

The basic dishes are good. The sushi was very bland. The waiter was great. The chef was very rude and rather unorganized. My food came out very late and dishes were mixed up. The price point was fairly decent. Wouldn’t be my first option.

Really good food, but I waited 25 minutes for the bill. I rang for the waiter 2-3 times and tried to flag him down. Only because another waiter stopped by did I receive help. And it wasn’t even that busy so not sure why he couldn’t stop for a minute to get the bill for me (because my family had already left 20 minutes before and he saw that).

So many of the Japanese restaurants in the area are terrible, but Shogun is pretty good. Prices are reasonable, and the offerings are good and well-prepared. My favorite sushi spot in Greenville. I love eel, and their unagi sushi is pretty good. I've been here a few times, and this has essentially become my Japanese and sushi spot in town.
