Hotel refused to give me free wireless access, even though I've been a Marriott Bonvoy customer for years, and had an emailed rez from them. I called the front desk about it, last night 2/25/2004, but they gave zero effs. Know before you go. Shop around.
The beds were small (like full sized), and sunk in the middle. The tab for four total drinks was $160. The management did nothing to make things right when I told them about the beds.
My worst review of a business ever! Oh my goodness, I would be embarrassed to call this hotel anything associated with Marriott. It smelled. The room was musty and the lobby was a plug in nightmare. The bed literally broke under my husbands weight, he sat down and you just heard springs collapsing. He is a normal sized man-no 600lb life here. We were only there for 5 hours or we would have walked out. Hey Marriott-may want to check this place-it is TERRIBLE. Only saving grace was hot coffee and cream in the lobby when we left for our early morning flight. And the staff was sort of nice. A lot nicer than this hotel.
Met and exceeded our expectations. We were met by three of the friendliest women on 9/2 @2100. (Would like for them to get a little recognition). They quickly and efficiently got us to our room. It was defeathered as requested. They acknowledged our titanium elite and gave us gifts and appropriate access. They have the concierge room opened again. You can get water and sodas 24/7. At 2100 they had cookies, fruits, chips, granola bars. They called this time of day dessert time. The rooms are clean and neat. NO mold to be found in the bathroom. And with this humidity, that 's a big deal. Tasha was our bartender and she was phenomenal. Kitchen closes at 2200. Breakfast in the morning was buffet. You can get omelettes in addition to order. They have huge selection of bacon (cooked crispy and soft), sausage links, 4 types of fresh fruit sliced, selection of breads, biscuits and gravy, grits, potatoes, and lots more.
I had an excellent experience with the customer service at this location! As a crew member visiting for the first time, I had numerous questions about their policies. Alisha, who was at the front desk at 6 p.m. on June 29, 2024, was incredibly kind and patient. Whenever she didn’t know something, she took the initiative to find the answers. She truly went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Additionally, our driver Warren was fantastic as well! He offered great dining suggestions and kept us informed about the availability of the van. It’s employees like these that would make me choose this location again when I travel on my own. Great job!
