Joy Of Tokyo - Greenville

Joy of Tokyo has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a healthy lunch a couple of times a week. I usually place my order over the phone, and it’s ready in just 10 minutes. I can walk straight to the counter, where there's typically no line, and my food is all set for me. I pay quickly without waiting, and I’m in and out in under 3 to 5 minutes at most. Quick, easy, and satisfying—those are the words that come to mind when I think of lunch, and Joy of Tokyo delivers on all fronts.

I truly love this restaurant, as well as several other locations of Joy of Tokyo. The food is simply outstanding!

This restaurant used to have a 4.3-star rating when I first came across Joy of Tokyo, which helps explain its drop to a 3.7-star rating now. Take my advice and consider driving a little further! Also, a quick note: the vegetables are now pre-made instead of grilled, and they seem to be served first to create the illusion of a larger meat portion. This was honestly the best-looking plate, believe it or not.

New review: The food here is consistently excellent! The portions are generous, and the quality is top-notch, all for under $10. I dine here often and have never been let down. The Cherrydale location is nearly as good, too.

The restaurant's hours listed online are often incorrect, which can make it challenging to determine if they're open. However, the food is excellent—much better than their East North Street location, which tends to be closed more frequently. Food rating: 5/5.
