El Molcajete - Greenville

I haven't yet satisfied my craving for authentic Mexican food. What I’ve found in SC is more of a Tex-Mex style, which doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. However, I’m still on the hunt and won’t give up until I find something that truly represents Mexican cuisine. Thankfully, I can always rely on my kitchen in the meantime. Sometimes, you just have to treat yourself and go out for a meal that fits your mood for the day.

The restaurant was a great experience. Seating was prompt, and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious, and I would definitely come back. However, we had to wait too long for drink refills, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.

The food was simply delicious, and our waiter Matthew was very polite and had a fantastic personality.

This was the hands down the best Mexican restaurant we were in two years! the food was all fantastic and the service was also great! and the prices were so low! so enthusiastic to have found this place! many thanks for such a wonderful experience! we're coming back!

The sweet tea was either old or they don’t clean the dispensers because it had a very distinctive taste. The highchairs are ABSOLUTELY DIGUSTING. They don’t clean them, they had stuck on old food had brown residue when wiped. Food was ok nothing spectacular. Won’t be coming back.
