Dickinson Avenue Public House

We always get great food and wonderful service at DAP House, and tonight was no exception. The fried green tomatoes were everything they should be, plus sweet corn and bacon on top. It's an inspired blend of flavors and textures. Holly from San Diego was an attentive without being intrusive server; DAP House has the best trained waitstaff in town.

The husband and I went there last night and were blown away. I had the DAP House fried chicken and he had the DAP House burger, both were delicious. We kept taking bites of each others dishes lol. The mac and cheese that came with the fried chicken meal was on point too. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentative even after a large party came and was seated in her section. We will definitely be back with friends.

Outstanding!!! I was so pleasantly surprised by this place I went there both nights I was in town. Everything is amazing. Highlights were the crab fritters, pig grits, and the short rib gnocchi. This place is a must go if you are in the area.

I might just drive the 4 hours 25 minutes for the Derby and a plate of biscuits one day when I need a get away. I’m a food snob and this was love at first bite.

Spectacular service and the food by far exceeded my expectations. I had the shrimp and grits and the hubby had the brisket mac n cheese. The main courses were just a taste of what the restaurant has to offer. The cocktail selections and desert offerings were even more impressive. The banana pudding had me looking for someone to slap, it was that good!!!
