Thank you Carolina ale house, we want you to succeed. I love ale house. I went to the Jacksonville NC location and it was amazing. So I decided to order take out for me and my wife. We don’t have a lot of money and this was supposed to be a treat. My order was to be ready at 10:30 pm (I ordered at 10 pm) My order was for two burgers , a side salad , pizza for my son who is autistic and the respective toppings. I waited over 1 hour and some change for my order. Mind you my wife and son were stuck in the car waiting this whole time. The poor hostess had to do EVERYTHING and they were drastically understaffed. I only saw one waitress. I was kind and patient and upon getting home found my food was cold, incorrect, (they gave me plant based burgers, onions and other toppings were missing, fries were good but half were cold, and the burgers were unpalatable. The only thing that was correct was my Caesar salad and it could hardly be called Caesar as it had nothing on it hardly. No croutons, cheese or dressing. I have my receipt, my order email, and pictures of what I got. We spent 40$ plus for a 1 hour plus s show. Please management reach out to me so we can resolve this. I’m very reasonable and will update if they reach out.
Many firstlings for me this year... this is one of them. I have to say. I paid a lot for my last steak and lobster dinner. This place was fantastic from the service > to the steak > to the lobster, cooked for perfection . Very attentive. My family was very happy. Happy Holidays!
Pretty good food. The Veggie Burger was fine, the Spinat dimmer was perfect. Our waitress was almost like a ghost when we wanted to pay. She tried to find her for about 15 minutes.
Okay so first this place used to actually be good . I first went with my ex enjoyed my drink, my food and everything . Went back about a week ago the food was great but the drinks were terrible . Something tasted like old fruit in my drink . And my boyfriend just didn 't like his sides, which wasn 't the restaurant 's fault he 's just picky. But then we went back last night(cause they 're one of the only cars that close late), and I ordered the same thing I did about a week ago and omg omg. So the waitress who was okay, brings me my plate, says they gave you one piece of salmon I had to make them add another cause that was not enough! and my first instinct after really looking is to send it back. The rice pilaf was half missing, hard, dry and in one clump. So dry that it taste parcooked, but it wasn 't it had just developed a crust . My vegetable side consisted of two pieces of broccoli, and three slices of zucchini and squash, and three cherry tomatoes. Yes 7 pieces of tiny vegetables. The sauce the came with my food, was somehow on his plate tonight and not mine. And honestly if I hadn 't ordered this EXACT same meal a week before I would 've assumed this what my plate was supposed to look like and would have never paid for it or came back. I wanted to send it back so bad but in the time that the waitress had gave us our food she didnt come back for about twenty minutes. My boyfriend says he didn 't like how it looked either cause that 's not how it looked last time, I was going to give the kitchen staff a hard time so I took a picture started eating instead. The more I ate the more I wished I had sent it back it was so very unsatisfying. But he didn 't tip because I told him repeatedly I hated my meal and we even had to go find the server to get out check leave because she kept disappearing.
I can’t rate the food here, because we never got any. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00, and they didn’t seem terribly busy. The host was friendly and gestured toward a few tables, telling us to take our pick. We did and he brought over a high chair for our child. He assured us that wait staff would be with us shortly. Our table was right by the server station and staff walked by us several times over approximately 15 mins.Just as we were discussing leaving, a waitress walked by and said she would be with us momentarily. We waited another almost 10 minutes and as I picked up my bag for us to leave, she came over to take our drink orders. They did not have my husband’s first choice, and were out of his second choice, so we ordered water and started to place our food orders, but were quickly told they were out of the entrees we wanted as well. We thanked the waitress and told her we’d go elsewhere and quickly left.We’d been looking forward to trying CAH, but after reading some Yelp reviews, it looks like our experience was not an isolated one, so we probably won’t be back.
