Doe's is always a favorite among both locals and travelers. It's quite famous, attracting a lot of famous patrons. Along the walls, there's tons of old pictures and memorabilia. Service is quick, and everyone is always friendly. Their portions are massive so be prepared. Typically, it's pretty busy and crowded for dinner, especially on weekends.

Ridiculous price gouging on great food. If you enjoy being ripped off the the point of anger, this is the place to do it. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I came all the way from New York and it was worth it. I've wanted to try the original Doe's for a long time and it was a great trip. The tamales are amazing and the Porter House was perfect. While I definitely couldn't eat the whole thing, my daughter and I did pretty well. The service was great and the ambiance is exactly what makes Doe's unique. If you love steak and road trips then this is the place for you.

Stopped in here a few weeks ago with friends that we haven't seen in over 25 years. The service was terrific and the food delicious. Looking forward to our next trip to Doe's.
