Fhinney Buffet - Greenville

Amazing all around. From salads to dinner all the way to desserts and even the cornbread. There is no falter to their cooking ways.

This place suffers extremely from lack of proper management and quantity of servers. They have no seating system in place so I was admitted before there was any actual place to seat me. In fact, I wasn't given any seating and a random server came up to place me down at a table with an existing party. Eventually space cleared and I was moved to my own locale, but still.Additionally, the buffet itself is barely kept stocked, namely in fried chicken which rapidly ran out of legs. The servers try their best but there's no organization system in place to make it easier for them so they are unable to meet customer requests. This lies doubly on management as nearly everything relies on them. Even to get ice cream, I had to ask my server 5 different times because she forgot because she got swarmed by requested from her other tables This isn't on her, cause she was a great server. It's on management for not giving her any sort of organization and on making something as simple as ice cream dependent on her instead of the customer.I will say that the food is alright. I, as a home cook, can definitely make/have made better. That is to say, nothing is really remarkable and the food is average at best. That is, besides the ice cream which was really enjoyable. It comes in two flavors, strawberry and vanilla.

The atmosphere is very friendly, and they need to use handsanitary and gloves before they go to the buffet line. the only thing I didn't like was the annoyed. they didn't look fresh or appetizing on the buffet counter, but I still tried. they need more server. overall the food was going back.

Grundfleisch and 3 buffet. it is classic south style. no frills, no high quality, but much better than the watch. They ask if they wear gloves on the, which is beautiful. immediate limonade, instantmaic kartoffels and rice large mac and cheese and roasted chicken. old south vibes.

Allison was our waitress at the fhinneys buffet in greenville s. carolina. she greeted us with a great smile and made her feel that they were at her grandmother with a home cooked meal. we were looking for tasty south-fried chickens and greens. this buffet had this item and more. they also offer breakfast buffet at the weekends. y
