Tex Shirley’s Family - Greensboro

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The service is quick and attentive. They serve freshly made avocado toast, perfectly cooked eggs (your choice of easy, medium, or hard), and crispy bacon. The gluten-free pancakes are a hit with the kids. The freshly churned butter is a lovely touch. Overall, a great place for a satisfying breakfast.

We have eaten at Tex Shirley twice while visiting the Greensboro area, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the portion sizes were perfect. I particularly enjoyed the fluffy spinach-mushroom omelet, while my partner enjoyed the hearty All-Star Breakfast. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

The food was good and the waitress was very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain that the owner was working on the menu and would have printed in a few months. He wants to make sure there is something for everyone. Try the cheese grits!!!! Super tasty. Eggs cooked perfectly on husband's and my order. HUGE deal breaker for me if not cooked right.

I love the new location and the atmosphere is terrific. The outdoor patio is a bonus and the staff here really hustle!! The food is exactly how it has been for the past several decades, and the meals come out fast and hot. Try the hash...it is the best!

Just have to tell you about exceptional service and food at Tex Shirley's in High Point. Went there at 11:30 on a Saturday to a full house with waiting line. When my turn, asked about seating for 7 to 8 people. She immediately identified three tables that could be quickly and easily brought together for us. I sat down to wait for others in my party, and waitress seated us as soon as all arrived. Couldn't ask for better service and delicious food. Always a favorite of mine, but this time exceptional service at very busy time.
