Contribuiți la feedbackIt was great, my first time and the people were very friendly. The food was amazing, I couldn't even eat it all they gave me so much. But I still made room for dessert.
Took my wife out for dinner we penned around the area using maps. We decided on Mexican, while this place is a little off he beaten path and not in the best neighborhood you couldn't have asked for a cleaner restaurant or friendlier staff. The food andmargaritas were excellent and the prices were extremely low considering the amount of food we are our bill was only 35 dollarswith jumbo margaritas! Can't beat that ANYWHERE! Hands down one great experience!
Food was cold and beans weren?t good. I called in 15 minutes before I got there and they gave me cold food. I also had to wait a few minutes when I went in to pick up food.I would have took it back but didn?t have a lot of time. I got steak tacos, beans, and nachos. The steak tacos were good. The beans weren?t good but they were the only thing warm they had white melted cheese onthem. The nachos were cold had a slight butter taste.
I really like this place for good Mexican food. Place is centered in a strange shopping area suite on a sloping hill, but other than that, it offers an amazing authentic Mexican experience. They offer both hot and mild salsa choices. The hot isn?t too badand is flavorful, while the mild is bland and similar to Pace picante. Plates here range from $9 for lunch specials to $10-$25for dinner meals. For dinner, we ordered their grilled chicken taco plate, a carne asada, some American style tacos, and theFajita Texana. Everything tasted well except the Texana. I asked for some fresh onion and cilantro to add some flavor to it andthat totally did the trick. They offer typical appetizers such as nachos, queso, guacamole (not a fan, btw as it doesn?t havetomatoes and is extremely creamy) and even hot wings as an appetizer, although I didn?t get to try them. The meals are like anytraditional Mexican restaurant dinner and they offer both refried beans and black beans (these are not great-no flavor at all)and even have vegetarian meals as well. We ordered their margaritas, one strawberry and one lime flavor. The lime flavor oneseriously packed a punch while the strawberry one was borderline virgin. Hubby ordered 3 lime ones and was out for the count forthe night. The service here is extremely good as everyone tends to pitch in and help out to provide a great guest experience.Sorry, no review on the deserts, but they do offer flan and sopapillas. I?ll definitely provide an update on some other things Itry, as this will be my New Mexican spot while I?m in town.
We ordered veggie fajitas without milk, and a taco, enchilada and burrito all ala carte. Our server was insecure about rice preparation, so he sent another guy who said that they both have cooked one in chicken broth and cooked one in water). Our server then said there was only one kind of rice. We took the risk and ordered it. Suppose it was all vegan, it was very tasty and fill. The veggies for the Fajitas are a must. Ask for extra tortillas, they gave us only two. I think a little more research needs to be done in terms of rice.
