Holcomb's B Que - Greensboro

VERY UPSET!! I'm a Well Traveled business woman and always support small businesses. When I get or travel thru areas on the way to my destination, my husband loves Barbque!!! BUT WHEN I TELL YOU WE CAME FROM ATLANTA TO COME TO THIS PLACE, HE WANTED TO VISIT WITH HIS BROTHER.. IT WAS AROUND 4:30 I THINK THEY CLOSED AT 5 THAT DAY ON A SATURDAY... PULLED UP KINNDA GLOMMY LOOKING BUT OK.. WENT INSIDE LOOKED DARK.. SO MAYBE THEY WAS DONE FOR THE DAY WHICH WAS FINE..BUT THIS IS WHERE PROFESSIONALISM SHOULD COME IN.. WE WAS NOT GREETED ALL BLACK COUPLES THE LADY JUST STARED... SO, THEN, SOMEONE CAME FROM BACK AND STATED WE CLOSED, BUT THE LADY AT REGISTER WAS STILL TAKING ORDERS WE DIDNT KNOW.. THEN MY BROTHER IN LAW SAID OK WE DROVE FROM ATLANTA AND SHE STATED IM HANDLING A CUSTOMER IN A VERY DISRESPECTFUL WAY LIKE WE NOT CUSTOMERS OUT MONEY IS GREEN JUST LIKE THERES.. THE WHOLD VIBE SHOWED US WE WAS NOT WELCOMED AT ALL.. I GIVE ANYONE A BENIFIT OF DOUBT WHEN HAVING A BAD DAY.. BUT THAT WASN'T THAT ..IT WAS A DISCRIMINATE SITUATION!! MY GOD SOFTEN YOUR HEART WHEN U TRY TO ENTER THE PEARLIE GATES!!! NEVER WILL STOP AGAIN!! CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY.. If u was done for Todaay that's all had to be said and handled!!

Went to Holcombs BBQ on 4-6-24, haven't been in a long time, since my days working at South wire, as it was back then, good food and professional service and they still have that delicious red velvet cake!? Thank you Holcombs BBQ! Looking forward to coming back!?

Gloomy dumpy depressing overpriced by $4 easy! Georgia sucks. Athens sucks. This region sucks. 13 years here can't get good food or service

Holcomb's has some of the best BBQ sauce ever! This is a must stop place for us. Anytime we are passing through and see the open sign we ALWAYS stop. I wish they were open more days.

Well, stopped on a Thursday while in area for Work. Ribs? Not on Thursdays! Oh, excuse Me. Takeout of the Brunswick Stew fantastic, best ever had (sorry, Mrs! . Shared with another couple and they agreed. A week later: bought a gallon for upcoming Church Fellowship meal no leftover 's!
