Not too great today. Maybe it was an off day. 3 of us received our food and when we asked about the 4th, they said it hadn't been cooked. They did give it to us for free. In addition, the special was fish..They were out of tarter sauce. Hoping to goback and have a better visit. I think they are worth a try as a good place to eat here in Greeneville. We will go back again.

Our order had to be canceled and refunded because they didn’t have any dessert available, which resulted in a three-day wait to get my money back. The BBQ plate and sandwich came with plenty of meat, but there was no BBQ sauce at all, making it very dry and completely lacking in seasoning. Honestly, it didn’t even taste like it was salted. The food was utterly flavorless. We were also missing one side of beans on our half plates. The fries were okay, but I had specifically requested no chives due to an allergy, and they were included anyway. Overall, it was far too expensive for such bland food—nearly $100 for two people! This was my first and last visit, and I will definitely be warning others to stay away.

This restaurant offers the best breakfast in town. I enjoyed eggs cooked medium, sausage, grits, and gravy, while my wife had her eggs cooked medium-well. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.

I finally tried Hicks BBQ tonight, and I was not disappointed! I never thought I'd admit this in a public forum, but the butt fries have become my new guilty pleasure—oh my goodness! While I'm not a huge barbecue fan, I have to say everything about their butt fries was absolutely perfect. The pork was incredibly moist, and the barbecue sauce had a wonderful blend of sweet, smoky, and savory flavors. When combined with hot fries, melted cheese, sour cream, and chives—wow! The portion size was massive, and I only ordered the half portion! My husband had a large pulled pork sandwich, and he thought it was fantastic as well. We will definitely be returning!
