The Switch Beer And Food Hall

I'm not surprised this place has closed down. The different restaurants in there were very good, but the place itself was not a good experience. Small kids running around the bar unattended, bartenders couldn't get a drink right to save their soul, etc. I hope that the food businesses in there survive, because they were all excellent.

Well...maybe it was good before you announced you're closing in 3 weeks. But it was a complete disappointment for me. my guy and I went today(Sunday) at 1:45...after driving all the way from Kansas just to try it before everything was gone. Half the restaurants were closed. The bartender was awesome and my bf liked his chicken salad sandwich, but I'm vegan and the only option for me was closed all 3 times we tried to go this weekend. The food at little ves was amazing. The snotty rude blonde bartender not so much. She was not very accommodating at all. After she spilled my drink I asked her why it wasn’t full she said she spilled it. I asked her if I could have a full drink and she copped an attitude and told me it was the same amount of liquid after she literally just told me she spilled it everywhere. I am a bartender. So unacceptable. She also looked like she just rolled out of bed. So disappointing.

Boom, so I got the Po Boy catfish sandwich and it was great. Nice and crispyyyy, but not too crispy. The sauce they put on it is fire too. You get A LOT of food, the sub is about a foot long, AND you get fries. 10/10 recommend.

First, let me say this review is on The Switch itself, not on the various restaurants in The Switch. Was in Omaha for a recent vacation trip. Our hotel was near The Switch, so we stopped in to check it out one night. Seemed like a good arrangement. I believe there were five restaurants set up in there, however not all of them were open. Little disappointing. Decide to check out some other places on the street. Came back the next night. Wanted to try one of the places that we saw open the other night. However, it was closed. Actually, only 2 or 3 of the places were open. Very disappointing. However, we did get something to eat at one of the places, it was very good. While sitting there eating our food we could hear music playing. Every 2 or 3 word in the song was the F bomb. Really, this is the environment that you want people to come to. Between the limited number of places open and the choice in music we will not be going back.
