Scooter's Coffee - Green Meadows

The heat index reached 105 degrees, yet there was only one elderly employee working alone for several days. She was completely drenched in sweat. Is this how you treat your staff? Despite the uncomfortable conditions, she did an excellent job on her own.

During a busy period, there was only one person working, and she managed everything on her own while handling numerous orders of four or more drinks. I was truly impressed with how well she managed the rush. My drink was delicious, and the barista was very efficient.

I checked the hours and it said the restaurant closes at 8, but that wasn’t the case. We arrived at 7:53, and no one came to the window or answered the phone, even after we honked. Not exactly great customer service! If you say you close at 8, you should actually be open then.

My favorite coffee shop in Omaha is hands down a great spot for a quick caffeine fix. They offer a fantastic range of drinks, and you can even add extras like protein to your smoothies for just 50 cents, which are also lower in fat compared to fast food options. They have a few food items on the menu as well. The baristas work diligently and are always friendly. I used to be a barista myself, so I appreciate the hard work they put in. And remember to tip! Just like servers and bartenders, we rely on those tips. I've always had an excellent experience at any Scooter's location in town. If you're heading there in the morning, be sure to leave a bit early—there can be long lines!

There's one employee at this location who opens the window without saying a word and just waits for you to place your order. It feels like she doesn’t want to be there at all! If you don't have the right attitude for the barista industry, maybe it's time to reconsider your job! I usually go to the 120th location because the service there is always friendly, and I appreciate that! Don’t get me wrong, there are some staff members who are really nice, but unfortunately, this one person really sets a negative tone for the whole experience.
