Chops - Green Lake

What a fantastic place!!!! Amazing starters with cocktails in a wonderful atmosphere in the lounge area, then a beautiful dining room with excellent restaurants. I had the salmon Oscar, my husband had Lamb Chops, and our friends had the fillet. All served with vegetables of the day, truffle potatoes and Ceasars Salad. Everything about excellence with fantastic service from both waiting and bar staff.

Excellent anniversary meal! My wife had the Airline Chicken and was amazed! I had a nice take on a Caesar salad and an upgrade to a savory Mediterranean salad for my wife. Perfect service and the most elegant atmosphere...

My wife and I loved this place. Great atmosphere and food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and literally when we were out of the way. When we called our reservations, I asked if they knew about a taxi service. They told me that we were in the city's tourism season, so that no Uber of Lyft drivers were available. We have made our reservation in any case, thank you and hung up. They called me back and said what your address is, we'll send someone to pick you up! THAT is customer service in its best. Back to dinner. The menu is full of great choices, but steaks are their speciality. I had the Mignon Oscar (Knabenfleisch-Topping) and my wife had the New York Strip. Both prepared with potatoes and vegetables and both were delicious. We paired it with a red mix and it fits perfectly. We love 2 hours away, but we'll come back to eat at chops.

Had a Valentine's Day meal and was really impressed. Friendly staff and good service. Beautiful selection of wines and a NA beer followed by Calamari starter who was pretty good. Light bread and perfect. Lamb hacks, chicken and fillet all beautifully prepared and present. Soup and Caesar salad have both thumbs up. A very nice way to spend a Valentine's Day evening. We tried chops when it first opened and we're a little underwhelmed. Dinner this evening was a standout. Great place for a special night in Green Lake.

Great place for date night. Quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, must try!
