Joe's Texas Bbq - Green Bay

I'm a big fan of great BBQ, and it's tough to find in the northern region. This place truly delivers with its slow-smoked offerings! The smoke ring on the ribs and the dry rub were absolutely perfect. They don’t drown their amazing dishes in sauce, so there’s nothing to hide the quality of the meat—it’s simply delicious! Staying true to authentic BBQ, they tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to arrive early and grab some! I had heard wonderful things about their previous location, and last time I was in town, they were in the process of moving, so I was thrilled to finally get a chance to try Joe’s! The brisket, rib tips, and pulled pork were all cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese, beans, and cornbread were outstanding as well!

I stopped by for a quick lunch, and I can't wait to return! The BBQ here is incredible—so moist and full of flavor. The service is quick and extremely friendly. They offer a variety of sauces, and I really enjoyed the mild one; I'll definitely try some others on my next visit, which will be soon! This place is a must-visit if you find yourself in Green Bay... GO PACKERS! I've sampled several dishes, and all of them have been top-notch. My only complaint is the cheap, soggy buns that remind me of those from Kwik Trip, but honestly, who needs a bun when the BBQ is this good? I love this place!

This was my first time visiting this BBQ restaurant, and it certainly won't be my last. The ribs were fantastic on their own, but I added a little sauce afterward for some extra sweetness. They even offered fried okra, which was a nice surprise! The drumsticks were also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better!

The new owners have taken over, and while the menu has a smaller selection, the unique twist they offer is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. Be sure to try the baked beans and potato salad—they're absolutely delicious! The ribs were also quite tasty. However, the corn on the cob was a bit bland and soggy, which seems to be a common issue at many barbecue places.
