Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Greeley

Awful experience! I ordered pulled pork and ribs, but the ribs were mostly fat, and the pulled pork was overly stringy and unappetizing. The coleslaw had a taste reminiscent of dirty dishwater, and the waffle fries were just regular fries instead. It was all just strange and unappetizing. I will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered dinner from this restaurant, and it was a terrible experience. I was craving Nordy’s, but since this place was nearby and open, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the brisket was burnt, dry, and tougher than beef jerky! The pork was also dry and stringy, and even the sausage was overcooked and unappetizing. I ended up leaving without much of my meal because no one wanted to eat the meat, though we managed to choke it down after drenching it in sauce. Eventually, we didn't feel well afterward. The only decent items were the fries and the mac and cheese. On top of that, when I ordered online, it automatically added a 20% tip, which I couldn't change, even though we picked up the food ourselves. I didn't think a tip that high was justified. I won’t be returning, and it’s a shame to waste so much food.

My grandmother was with me, as always, and we both enjoyed our meal immensely. We each had the pulled pork sandwich, which was fantastic. We also ordered the jalapeño beans, though they weren't as good as I remembered. The coleslaw and potato salad were excellent. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our meal came to about $15 per person. However, there were no lemon wedges for the iced tea, and they didn't have any ice cream available. Since it was a slower time due to the holiday, I won't hold this against them in my rating.

Great brisket sandwich and sauces. A bit pricey but worth it. Friendly staff and clean area.
