Almansitas - Greeley

This was my first visit, and the food was fantastic! I ordered online for pick-up. Although my app notified me that my order was ready, I had to wait about 5 to 7 minutes when I arrived. However, it was definitely worth the wait. My meal came with two sauces: a green one and a red one. I usually enjoy green sauces, but I found this one a bit bland, even though it had some heat to it. The red sauce, on the other hand, was delicious! It had the perfect amount of heat and great flavor. Overall, I will absolutely be back!

Food was well prepared and service although not very friendly staff. My Negative review is the result of bad communication now I can understand a little Spanish and I appreciate the effort when the staff is really trying to get my order right but when they seem overly frustrated because a person is unable to clearly communicate what they want in the order I believe that this tends to be the fault of the business owner. If you choose to open a restaurant in a country that the majority of people speak English you should hire people that speak the language. This was not the case at this particular business. If I go to a foreign country to open a restaurant I will make sure that myself and my staff are able to clearly speak the language.

I am no longer happy with this place. I was originally because they do have actual Mexican food, but lately it has been disappointing. Charging money for “nachos” that take 20 min. and are just chips with cold shredded cheese on top! (That isn’t the “actual” Mexican food I was excited about, but it is a thing we ordered). Huuuge chicken breast on top of a tostada and they just talked like it was normal to put a whole chicken breast on a tostada instead of cutting or shredding it some. This place has been consistently disappointing.

I seen good reviews and thought this place would be good but what I got wasn’t. I asked for cheese enchiladas and literally got rolled up tacos with cold cheese in it and on top of it drowned in greasy red sauce. Beans were white which wasn’t very appealing. 1 out of 10

The food was good, the only thing we really buy is the frits with Carne Asada with the works... Very tasty and finger lick....
