Fionn Maccool's - Greater Sudbury

Not the best pic, but the fish n' chips were excellent. I had fish n'chips at Overtime the previous night, and Fionn MacCools is way better. Decent portion too. I'll have to return to try out other items on the menu sported with a Guinness.

Went for my birthday, and our server was excellent. I had the Guinness Steak and Mushroom Bowl, which was flavourful, albeit a little too salty, and a pint of Guinness which as always was delicious (but the pour was a bit off as the head was too big). Fionn MacCool’s has a great, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s a great place for an evening out.

Manager Bev and server Ashley M. provided exceptional customer service today. My wife and I are seniors moving across Canada and we were very tired when we arrived at Fionn MacCool's for lunch. Manager Bev greeted us warmly and provided such great service and conversation that it immediately brightened up our day. We were so impressed that we came back for dinner where Ashley M, continued their exceptional customer service. We thank them both very much and they have made a difficult trip more enjoyable. Like many restaurants here in sudbury, this place has also made a dive. it was one of the few pub styles that we gave a chance and was let down. the kartoffels were not even real kartoffels. in an Irish pub! the steak and the mushroom cake were pure salt. my man who normally eats until he needs a nod had about 5 bites and could not take it anymore. We couldn't eat $58 on a meal. we understand that the cost of the business has risen. but the skipping of food quality will not further bring our sales. never back to phionns. sad and disappointed.

Great terrace, friendly staff, good food. I'd eat here anytime if I'm in sudbury!
