Galle Road - Greater Dandenong

We have tried this place because there are not too many sri Lanka restaurants in melbourne. there is a good selection of sri lanka kitchen and I would return.

This restaurant specializes in multiple cuisines, but lacks specificity in any of them. The food was terrible and cold, with dirty service. Overall, I would not recommend going here if you want to have a good dining experience and avoid ruining your mood.

Do not even think about going to this place, they were ok few years back, but their standard and quality has gone so bad. when they enter for their buffets, they will find most of the time empty servier dishes. they don't care....You eat kind of old, they seem to warm up again and serve the left overtime of the day before. try to avoid this place. it's just so bad.

This restaurant was wonderful when it first opened, serving delicious curries and even featuring live music on Friday or Saturday nights (I can't recall which). However, the quality of the lunch menu started to decline, offering lackluster dishes in a series of disappointing bain marie displays. The food that was once tasty is now not very competitive compared to the variety of Indian/Sri Lankan cuisine available in Dandenong. It has the potential to improve given its good location and atmosphere. I may give it another try to see if things have improved.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We had to wait two hours just to get our first hopper. I was embarrassed because my guests were hungry and I had to go elsewhere to get food for them. The manager was incredibly rude and seemed to think he was doing us a favor by serving us unappetizing food. He really needs to work on his customer service skills as he is damaging the reputation of other Sri Lankan restaurants. If you're looking for good Sri Lankan food, look elsewhere!
