Fryers Delight - Great Yarmouth

I went to order a family meal with my children, but unfortunately, they were frightened by the owner, Dave. They claimed to have seen him being caught live on a Child Protection Team's Facebook page for inappropriate conduct with children. It turns out he was found guilty of engaging in inappropriate behavior with children. This is unbelievable and truly a sad way to ruin one's own life.

Great fish beautifully fresh and white flakes. The batter was just right soft but with a crisp texture absolutely delicious highly recommend this place I will definitely be changing to this shop in future the chips were lovely too nice and brown and fairly chunky The best chips around. Large portions too couldn't eat all the chips.

Fryers Delight is one of the best fish and chip shops in the area in my opinion. The fish is cooked beautifully, and the staff are extremely polite and dedicated to customer satisfaction. Despite a small mistake in my order during a busy time, it was quickly rectified without any issue. The team at Fryers Delight excels in customer interaction, delivering exemplary 5-star service.

Excellent. Cooked fresh to order, fish was perfect. Great size portion and excellent value. Really friendly people who were keen to ensure I enjoyed my meal. Well worth a visit.

I parked my truck next to Fryers Delight for the night and decided to order some food. I had been there two weeks ago and the previous staff member was very helpful, showing me the facilities and giving me the gate code. On September 14th, I called in and a different server took my order for 2 pies and a bag of chips which came to £8.90. I paid by card and was told it would be a short wait, so I went outside for a smoke. When I returned, the server informed me they were out of rolls, which I had not ordered in the first place. He refunded me £3.00 but then confused me by charging me £5.90. It wasn't until I checked my bank statement that I realized he had charged me twice. Unfortunately, the shop was closed by the time I noticed and I had to leave at 5am. In summary, the food was delicious but the service was poor. It's important to be cautious when paying with card at this establishment.
