This friendly pub offers plenty of reasonably priced drinks and delicious food that can't be beat elsewhere. The kids' meal was so generous that it could have fed me - two pizzas, fries, and sausages with chips for just £6.

This bar has changed hands several times over the years we have visited. Still a good pub away from the busy town centre, not too far from the train station.

Good covid restrictions in place and the staff very polite and best of all lovely pint
