Southernq - Great Wood

Recently, I bought a $30 tray of banana pudding from this restaurant. Typically, we order a $5 bowl which has a good amount of banana and cookies. However, this time was a letdown. The tray was mostly whipped cream and cookies with small bits of banana at the bottom. When I called to complain, the staff member mentioned that she saw the owners make it. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the poor quality. I won't be returning to this restaurant in the future. Very disappointed.

I purchased the brisket sandwich for just over 15 dollars. I was extremely disappointed to find that the meat was very dry, making it difficult to swallow. The middle of the meat was slightly better than the edges, but still lacked moisture. Additionally, the brisket was not seasoned and had a tasteless, creamy substance on top that made me feel nauseous. I would not recommend this dish to anyone, as it does not reflect the quality of food I expect from a restaurant. Although my previous experiences with this restaurant were satisfactory, this will be my last visit. Despite the kind and professional staff, I had to wait 20 minutes for my order, which should have been a simple sandwich.
