Nik's Steak Seafood - Great Wood

The food was made fresh to order, and the fried foods weren't greasy. Highly recommend the grilled shrimp and the etoufee. Service was excellent. Tyler with his southern charm and manners made us feel welcome.

Not sure how this place got 4.3 stars. Everything I had was OK. From the service to the atmosphere. Steak was cooked to medium and wasn't flavorful at all. I ended up adding salt and pepper to avoid the steak sauce she brought out. Waitress kept her head down most of the time and didn't look up while I was trying to signal her for payment. Ended up just walking up there and paying at the register with no ticket. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

Don't judge by the look of the place. I mean it's not huge or fancy. The food is so good. Better than those expensive places I have been to.

A great place for really great food. My husband and I absolutely love the cajun fried rice! I always get their seafood and my husband loves their pork chops. We always get an order of boudin balls. Definitely a favorite spot.
