We enjoyed a lovely dinner, nice service and surroundings. Stronly recommend it!

Service and ambience were excellent, but the food was very disappointing, and not up to the standard I remember.

Lovely pre-Christmas meal, food was really tasty, ambiance was great service was excellent. Charcuterie board probably wasn’t the one to go for as it wasn’t that imaginative (bread salami chorizo pickles) but the soup the sardines went down well. All of our mains were delicious! It was our first visit we will return. One request-could someone please oil the kitchen door? It was squeaking non-stop!

Good and generous helpings; menu should have said that the turkey has bacon covering; we do not eat pork. Venison pie was very good This failing was recognised by mgmt
