Brick House Pub - Great Barrington

Racist Business Alert! This couldn't even wait until I got home! Most disgusting restaurant experience I've ever had. My husband and I stood in the doorway for over 5 minutes and were looked at and totally ignored. I then walked over to the bar and asked the bartender if they were still serving and he told me I had to wait for a server or sit at the bar and he would get to us eventually. WTF?? There is a large sign saying seat yourself but every table was dirty with glasses and plates on it. The server never showed we waited an additional 10 minutes with no one speaking to us and giving us uneasy stares as if we were disturbing their evening. So we kindly left. Takeout at the peak of pandemic, and based on the chicken strip dinner and a brief glimpse on the interior, I wanted to come back immediately. Strips is a bit of a misnomer it 's a breast pounded flat and deep fried katsu style for maximum crunch, before being hacked in to, well, strips. Okay, they win. Great sauces to choose from or get the chicky chunks tossed in the garlic parm ooze crazy salty and delicious. Salad featured insanely crisp and fresh veggies. Kind of cool for a pub to take that level of care in house greens. The vibe is just... right. Next visit to the area, I 'm excited to grab a stool at the bar.

Love this place. The pub menu is perfection. The burgers are incredible. Highly recommended!

We just love going to the Brick House Pub. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and the food is great! (Plan to take some home the portions are huge! . We go often and consider it a regular haunt of ours we sure hope they stay OPEN!!!

First off I have to say from a fellow server to another Ceela (forgive me if I speelled it wrong) was legit one of the best servers I have had. She truly appreciates the art of service and making her guests happy. It is a rare thing these days when not only was she happy to serve us she legit loves her job and was happy to be working again. Next comes the food ....holy moly was I wowed not only by the portion size but man its like they hold their level to a different standard. The pot skins had so much on them I was floored. Literally the best garlic parm sauce on the wings I have ever tasted. And its like the blue cheese dressing/dip came down from heaven above. We asked for more just so i could bring it home and have it again to dip my fries in. The chips and chips was great not over cooked and the batter and fish were so flaky. The tarter sauce was a tad different. Normal is mayo and relish. This was a little watery but still very good. Just different then the norm. Its very apparent the chef took a lot of pride in his first night back after being shut down. Everything was spot on. My entire family couldn't have been happier. Thank you all so much
