Happy Dragon - Gravesham

I would not recommend spending your money at this restaurant. I called to place a delivery order and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. They said they couldn't deliver because they only had two drivers on duty that day. I called today because I wanted my food sooner, not on Friday. The person I spoke to had a terrible attitude, even though I called only 2 minutes after 5 o'clock so they couldn't have been very busy. I have ordered from this place many times before, but after this experience, I will be looking for another restaurant with better service.

I really miss Mirramar but have been trying out Happy Dragon and have not been disappointed. Their take on local Chinese cuisine tastes fresh, with flavors like ginger and pineapple coming through instead of just vinegar for sweet and sour dishes. The pork balls are like crispy dumplings, very moist and delicious, although I almost made myself ill from eating too many of them along with the sweet and sour sauce. I decided to try the beef and onion dish based on a review I read, and it has become my new favorite alongside the chicken chow mein. The beef and onion dish was lovely, especially when paired with the juicy chicken chow mein. Overall, I give Happy Dragon 5 stars, but if I ever have a bad dish, I'll be sure to let you know.

Really good food delivered quickly all arrived hot and obviously freshly cooked

Beef had an unhealthy jelly like texture and an odour of old rotting meat, this is really everything anyone should know before trying the place. Duck was none existent few miniature bits mainly consisting of fatty skin among huge amounts of fresh pineapple chunks. Chow main pork or chicken tasted exactly the same, lump of undisclosed noodles, lamb was shredded dry salty and burnt with very little sauce, king prawn were actually good, 3 dishes had a fresh veg and similar sauce base despite being completely different dishes Some places you want to return and some you just know straight away you never will and this one is definitely the latter. 80% ended up in the bin

Basic Chinese takeaway with the usual food. The rice could be better quality.
