Thirsty Barrel Taphouse Grille

I really enjoy ordering the vegan aioli and cashew pesto with their fries at this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of delicious fries to choose from. I also love their elote salad (just ask for no cheese) and both types of veggie tacos. They have gluten-free buns and a vegan burger option available as well.

When we arrived the place was busy so I thought the food would be good. Just your average bar food. Food service is slow. I ordered the cauliflower buffalo wings, the flavor was good but they were not crispy, I know cauliflower wings can be crispy because I’ve had them other places and I make them that way at home. Maybe they sat a while before they were delivered to me. My husband had the fries they were almost crispy. We also ordered the cauliflower tacos and portobello mushroom tacos they were good, very flavorful.

They have lots of vegan options. We got the pretzel and they included vegan sauce. We also got the Impossible Burger and their vegan pistachio pesto which was excellent!

There are many vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. The Mediterranean salad was fantastic and came in large portions! Just make sure to request it without cheese. The restaurant offers a vegan twist on traditional dishes, with options in every section of the menu, such as gyros made with an impossible burger.

I ordered burgers with sweet potato fries and also tried the delicious brussel sprouts. The staff was friendly and the food was great. What's not to love?
