Beach Hut Deli - Grass Valley

I was very disappointed with the sandwich at this restaurant. It was overcooked and seemed overpriced for the portion size, which was only half a sandwich. The menu could use better descriptions of the sandwiches, including their size.

I ordered the Malibu half sandwich on a roll with the Shaka nachos. The quality of the pastrami was very good, but there was not enough of it in the sandwich. The size of the half sandwich was disappointing, and it arrived on soggy white toast instead of the French roll I requested. Despite the over-rated and over-priced half sandwich, the serving of Shaka Nachos was generous and delicious.

The Pig Kahuna is no longer available, which is disappointing. Furthermore, the price of a large Woody sandwich is comparable to that of a large pizza. The food is of good quality, but it is quite pricey. I would frequent this restaurant more often if it didn't cost $100 to feed my family of five with sandwiches, chips, and drinks.

Beach Hut Deli is the go-to spot in town for incredible sandwiches bursting with flavor! The customer service is top-notch, with a cheerful and friendly staff. I highly suggest stopping in for lunch if you haven't already. My personal favorite is the Muscle Beach sandwich from the secret menu, packed with protein and veggies.
