Went to the Springbrook last week with my family! Amazing service and great value! I have a 5 month old baby and all the staff were amazing with him!! Lovely food and reasonable! I would recommend the pretzel starter !
Came for the Curry Night. Lovely Chicken Tikka Masala, made from a rotisserie chicken. Vegi Ca Ri was nice too. Very reasonably priced.
I usually go to 'The Sacred Orchard ' in Nantwich when I visit my son (it too is a Marston 's Rotisserie pub) and really enjoy it. I decided to visit the Springbrook with my son and my partner as it is the closest one to where I live in South Manchester. The pub itself is really nice, with a dedicated bar area featuring a large screen TV and a separate 'dining ' area on the upper level. The mix of brickwork and wood compliments each other and there is plenty of space to move around without being on top of one another. The food is just as excellent as that at the Sacred Orchard and has the same excellent menu. The service on my visit wasn 't as good as the Sacred Orchard unfortunately. After finding our own table it took a while to be seen by one of the waitresses. We ordered drinks and had to wait for 15 minutes to receive them (after chasing them up) and the food also took a while to get to us even though the place was only half full. The (male) Manager was very apologetic though and was friendly and professional. The waitresses were also nice and friendly but maybe a little inexperienced or undertrained. I definitely preferred 'The Sacred Orchard ' when it comes to service as you are greeted at the door and shown to a table there. You are then looked after by the waitress waiter who is looking after that particular section. This makes the service feel more personal and the servers are more attentive. Something which would be nice to see at the Springbrook, as the staff are friendly just not attentive enough. Also, perhaps due to the size of the Springbrook it felt much colder than the Sacred Orchard. In the Sacred Orchard there are wood fires dotted around, and even on the coldest of winter nights the pub is very warm and cosy. The Springbrook fell short here too. It was a little colder and lacked that 'cosy ' feel. Other than that, I did enjoy my meal there. Top marks to the Manager. The pub itself is nice and the food is spot on. Hopefully if they can address the issues mentioned and be a bit more like their sister pub in Nantwich, the Springbrook would achieve the full 5 stars from me. There is ample free parking and a lovely outdoor seating area complete with play equipment for those summer days. It 's just a shame they are not a little closer to South Manchester! I have been twice now and will definitely be returning again in the future.
Had our Nephews 21st Birthday on Friday . Food was lovely staff were very friendly helpful
