Contribuiți la feedbackOn Thursday, September 14, 2023, we enjoyed lunch at LA Burger, a Korean-Mexican-American fusion restaurant located at 210 N. Main Street in Grapevine, TX, after walking from the train station. My mom ordered the Firebeef Salad, which was around $11, while I opted for the OG Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, along with French fries and a fountain drink, bringing our total to $25. I left a $2 tip for the table service, which was prompt and friendly. We both agreed that the food was delicious and flavorful, and we would definitely eat there again during our next visit to Grapefest. For those seeking vegetarian options, they offer salads, vegetable burgers, and fries for meat-free dining. Parking was convenient, with public parking available near the entrance to Grapefest for $10, as well as private lots. The sidewalks in the area were also roomy, making it wheelchair accessible.
This is a fantastic place to stop by. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, the burgers are surprisingly incredible. They also have a nice selection of beers.
Having tried LA Burger in Plano before, we decided to visit the location in Grapevine. I ordered the West Coast burger with bacon and sweet potato fries. My son opted for a classic cheeseburger, while my wife went for onion rings since she wasn't very hungry but loves them. She thoroughly enjoyed the rings, describing them as a crispier version of Whataburger’s, which is a compliment in her book. My son devoured his burger so quickly that I couldn't even snap a photo. Liberty Burger has long been his favorite, but tonight he declared LA Burger tied for the top spot. As for my experience, I found the burger to be absolutely fantastic. It featured everything you'd want in a burger: a grilled bun, fresh vegetables, grilled jalapeños, crispy bacon, and most importantly, fresh, hand-formed patties—not frozen. The burger was perfectly juicy, making it one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d rate it a solid 10 out of 10. The sweet potato fries were also quite good—standard cut but well-executed. However, if I had to nitpick, my only complaint about this place (which I often point out at other restaurants) is the practice of asking for tips before the food is served or made. It’s become all too common and is quite off-putting. I’m more than willing to tip generously for great service and food, but being asked for it while being directly looked at is a turn-off. Thankfully, some establishments don’t engage in this practice, and I truly appreciate it. Putting that minor issue aside, I can confidently say that both LA Burger locations in Grapevine and Plano rank as the best burger joints I’ve encountered so far in the Dallas area, both scoring an impressive 9.5 out of 10. If they eliminated the pre-meal tipping pressure, I’d gladly give them a perfect 10 out of 10. This place is truly exceptional. If you're a burger lover, you owe it to yourself to visit—you won’t be disappointed!
This was the avocado they put on my favorite burger, I can't describe the disappointment it brought me, unfortunately my order was for takeout and I wasn't in the restaurant to be able to complain personally.
We showed up 30 minutes before and received excellent service and an amazing Burger Experience. Definitely worth a visit (multiple visits*
