Contribuiți la feedbackVery good people that own it, very respectful owners. Heather tried to do her best, she’s only one person. She put her heart and tears into that restaurant. She made the right decision for her and her son. Heather started that restaurant and the tackle shop, Heather and Todd both put work into those businesses.
Brisket and ribs were great. Would highly recommend. Guys got smoked 1/2 chicken and said it was soo good and there was alot of it.
This bbq joint has the potential to be something really special, as the food is decent, and the space is large enough they could offer entertainment, but it's like they renovated some parts and forgot the rest? Not that that's stopped me from eating there, but it's kind of off-putting. The brisket is delicious, but the portions have gotten smaller and smaller... Even with sides, it's not nearly enough to fill a person. I'd like to see them finish renovations, raise the price by $2 (if that's what it takes) and stop being so chintzy with the serving sizes.
Waited too long for only one other customer to be in there. Smoked chicken was to hard to eat. BBQ was dry. Collards not good. Portions are small. Did not get my salad. Limited menu. No fried chicken. They did not have what was shown on menu online. Prices too high.
I'm in here any time I fish in pamlico county. The food is delicious, beer on tap is always fresh and cheap $2.95!!! and it's in the same building as the best tackle shop around. All the stars.
