Sizzler - Grants Pass

Sizzler promotes the idea of freshness, but my experience was quite the opposite. I opted for the endless salad bar, and unfortunately, it fell short. The spinach was wilted and seemed old, the tomatoes were bitter, the peas were dry, the mushrooms were nearly black with age, the onions lacked flavor, and I even found something that had paper in it.

The food was excellent—thank you, Sizzler! The only thing I would have preferred is a whole slice of onion for my burger instead of just two outer rings. Other than that, the portions were spot on, and I believe they serve some of the best burgers and fries in town. A special thanks to Lance for delivering my meal with such care. It was a relief to avoid cooking and shopping after a long, stressful day at work and home.

The crispy shrimp was fantastic! However, the Caesar salad was overly drenched in dressing, making it inedible. It would have been much better with about a third of the amount. I had a similar experience with the loaded mashed potatoes; there was far too much sour cream, to the point where they didn’t even taste like mashed potatoes anymore. The cheese bread was also excessively greasy. I really miss Sizzler and how it used to be a decade ago.

Chicken Malibu patty was wet breading and soggy was microwaved (very apparent not crispy breading like it should be. ImVery disgusting. Steak was hard as rock and microwaved. VERY dissatisfied. Wow
