The food was great. The mole was more on the chocolate side. The enchiladas molcajete was good. We waited about 45 minutes on a Wednesday night. The service was ok. The drinks looked good, but we were too hungry! The outdoor seating is chilly with only a few heat lamps for the small space. Cheers
This place managed to rise to the covid challenge with their outdoor seating. Tons of seating and enough heaters to keep everyone comfortable even on those super chilly southern oregon winter nights. The main street outside is a bit busy if you're in the small section of tent by 6th, but it's manageable. The food at this place is extremely good. Portions are generous, everything is spiced to perfection and the food makes its way to you pretty quick. I would give 5 stars, however service has been a bit hit and miss the last few times we've been there. Not horrible, just empty drinks with no server coming by offering to refill. Gotta cut them some slack tho as they're always PACKED since this covid nonsense shut everything down in a super low risk community. The molcajete Ranchero here is the best molcajete dish in southern Oregon.
Outdoors was fun, the heating lamps and tarps reminded my adult kids of camping and we had a chance to eat a meal together. I was so happy they were open! Service was good despite the extra hardship on staff of outdoor dining.
