Granito's A Garlic - Granite Bay

We chose the bruschetta and fried ravioli, which were excellent. To our surprise, a generous bowl of nachos appeared at our table; they were delicious, featuring a meat marinara topped with fresh basil and mozzarella, all served on deep-fried lasagna noodles cut to look like chips. The wine was exceptional, and the appetizers were so generous that we ended up ordering too much. When the entrées arrived, they were piping hot! Both filet mignons were cooked perfectly to our liking, and the shrimp was tender. The chicken marsala was lightly fried and also tender, while the veal scaloppini was cooked just right. The garlic mashed potatoes were flavorful, and the summer vegetable medley was spot on. Each entrée was well-prepared, but we felt that the heavy cream and butter sauces were unnecessary and overshadowed the quality of the meats. We wrapped up our meal with tiramisu and coffee. While it was a bit on the expensive side, we definitely plan to return!
