Cold Stone Creamery - Grandville

Ordered online and had to wait in a 35 minute line after the website said the order would be ready. We intended this to be dessert with other takeout so it really ruined our whole night. We would have left after seeing the massive line if we hadn't already paid for it. Lesson learned don't get to go orders here you might as well just walk in and order at least you can bail if the line is long. When we finally got to the front of the line the person unapologetically stated that they didn't have the flavor we ordered, did not give an option for an alternative and that we could not cancel the order in the store. We spent $20 to spend 35 minutes in line and not get any ice cream and now we have to go wrangle a refund from a chatbot or something. I can't imagine giving this place another chance after such an awful experience.

Why is this place so addicting! You can’t really go wrong with any flavors here. They’re all a good blend of sweet and creamy. I always end up with their birthday cake remix. This location gets very busy so expect anywhere from a 6 minute wait to longer unless you’re coming during off hours, which would be during the work day and later at night. They were out of 4 flavors, just made fresh batches and waiting for them to freeze. They were also out of their waffle cones and bowls. Usually only takes them a day to restock.
