Contribuiți la feedbackStopped here on our way from Lisbon to the Algarve. The food is very traditional Portuguese which made it fun. They also had green wine which is a must. Superb service.
We went to this restaurant upon suggestion of a staff member at our hotel. What a great suggestion! We enjoyed tasting meals of local tradition, bacalhau with spinach, chicken that tasted like chicken, a rare find nowadays, and tender and delicate lamb meat, another rarity. Everything was freshly made, waiting Dessert had been an hard choice among the several delicious options they had. Timing was right for the type of food we ordered, staff was very efficient and kind, there were even plexiglas separators between tables (even if we went when Covid restrictions had been lifted). Looking forward to return on our next trip by Grandola.
A solid Portuguese fair restaurant, perfect lunch stop on the way to Algarve. Highly recommended especially if longing for Cozido à portuguesa. Always full with locals. Very speedy service.
We stoped at Canal Caveira Restaurant when going to Algarve and tried the Cozido à Portuguesa wich is their speciality. It came in a good portion but was nothing special compared with others wehave tasted. As it was not expensive and we were looking for aplace to eat near the road it was an acceptable choice.
