The Pyramids ~ Taste of Egypt

Our large family tried several dishes at this restaurant, and everyone enjoyed their food. It was a refreshing change from the day to day selections of food in Grande Prairie. I really enjoyed the homemade hot sauce! I had the turkey and egg crepe, with the homemade hot sauce-it was incredible.

It's a nice little family-run stall that serves some very tasty Mediterranean food. The prices are reasonable especially considering the large portion sizes. Freshness may be an issue because of the lack of traffic, but it's not going to stop me from returning.

The Pyramids offers a wide variety of Egyptian and Middle Eastern food, including shawarma, falafel, lentil soup, and much more, with a Canadian flavour! The seasonal desserts are not to be missed including "kahk" a delicious cookies with powdered sugar that you may not be able to find anywhere else around the region, and basboosa... Well, to sweet to describe (in a good way), and there "Baklawa" is super....There is a very good variety there...

I read that this place was ranked "one of the best pizza's in Brampton".I'm gonna say nope!! I ordered just a small za with Pepperoni/Mushroom/Sausage
