TacoTime - Grande Prairie

Ok, this is a fast food restaurant with a good locaion. I find their food tasty and a bit of a treat since we don't have a taco place in our city. The food price is as expected and worth a visit.

We waited over 20 minutes for two beef burritos, with only two other customers in line. Also, my boyfriend watched them grab a burrito from under the warmer and throw it in the microwave and reheat it. And, it was still cold!!! Never going here again. Avoid this place!!!!

It is pretty basic food here, Taco's, burritos, tater tots, that sort of thing. None of which stands out as anything more than not bad, but not good either. It is also challenging to make a meal out of the tacos, you need three or more to achieve anything substantial and the fillings are meager and basic. Still every six months or so something compels me to come back. Service is generally slow, even when you are the only customer, as we were on this last visit. Prices are comparable to other fast food places but you getter better value, and food elsewhere.

It's Alberta - what can we expect? Drive thru is always busy. They get the order right. It's fast. Napkins always in the bag. Food is what you expect - this isn't Mexico. My husband loves the Deluxe Mexi Fries.

It's always disappointing to see a long time business in GP seem to lose it's focus. The staff at Taco Time are about as lacklustre as anything I've ever seen. No one there seems to enjoy their job.The food is about the same as usual, but they've discontinued some of the specials that used to regularly bring my wife and I in for mexican food.Overall, there is very little that draws me to come into this location anymore. The sit down portion of the restaurant is cheap chairs and cheaper tables - like eating in a high school cafeteria.Maybe one day, GP will get a decent Mexican place.
