The Coffee House - Grande Cache

There has always been a coffee house in the mall but it has changed location and owners since we were last here. We stopped in today for a late lunch....

For a small town coffee shop this is your only choice. Good coffee!

There was always a coffee house in the mall, but it has changed location and owners since we were last here. We ate late today. The menu points sound good so that we both selected the turkey pesto sandwich. They did not ask what kind of bread we wanted (or we look like white bread people), so we ended with white bread. I don't know if full wheat is an option. Given the name of turkey pesto, I really expected turkey sandwich. What we got was meat processed as you can buy from the Deli in a grocery store. It's red like ham and tasted like ham. I'm not saying they gave us ham, I'm just saying that processed turkey looks and tastes like processed ham. There were also cheese and a little pesto. Basically it tasted like a roasted cheese sandwich. I also had a regular coffee from the carafe. It was good. The service was very nice and friendly. You order from the counter and bring it to your table. The inside is quite trendy with a variety of table sizes and a couch. There's another café near the Co-op, so I'll try it next time.
