Mountainview Family Restaurant

You don't expect this kind of food and service in small towns. Our waitresses, Anna and Chona (sisters), were just great. The food was delicious and the house wine was pretty darn good. We were there for dinner and again next morning for breakfast. Great service, great food and modest prices. All in all a good place to eat and it's in the same building as the Grande Cache Hotel.

My wife and I stopped by while on a day trip to Grande Cache the food was fine the portions adequate the price average the service was nothing special all in all pretty basic.

The tablecloths are sticky, the floors are dirty, and the decor is outdated. The quality of the food varies. The service was slow, the waitress was terrible, and the restaurant wasn't even busy.

The family restaurant provides the basics for breakfast and lunch but that is it -- the basics. The food is okay but nothing special. But there is no reason that the staff have to be so grumpy and disengaged. One rushes through the meal because it feel uncomfortable staying in the restaurant.

Excellent taste, good place for good food. The European taste, quick service encourage to visit this place. Next time, when I go to Grande Cache I will visit the restaurant.
