Um I have to pay more for you to make it right??? Wow. Small portions and super pricey. I don't see what everyone is raving about. Typical Sudbury lowered expectations.
I wish I could give half stars... because the only thing missing was a little salt on the meats. We had the steak and cheese melt and Sudbury burger. All well prepared, fresh buns but the hamburger patties were not homemade and lacked seasoning as did the steak, which was very tender. The service was fun and friendly and the food was quickly served. Only regret... I didn't try the poutine, the gravy looked rich and flavorful.
This restaurant lives up to its reputation for serving the best poutine in town. The burgers are also exceptional, surpassing many popular burger bars, and the chicken dishes are hard to beat. In search of something new, I decided to try the hot chicken deluxe. The positive aspects included generous portion sizes, tasty fries, and flavorful chicken. On the downside, the gravy was excessively salty, and the dressing, while tasty, had a pudding-like consistency rather than a stuffing-like one. The vegetables, although frozen, were cooked perfectly but slightly over-seasoned. Despite being called hot chicken, I question how many diners actually eat the piece of bread at the bottom of the chicken pile.
I would never go it was my first visit and nothing more gross than tak a bite into your steak and cheese and finding long black hair..fries were nothing to write home about and the gravy was your typical bag gravy..not worth the money
I can't go to Leslie's without ordering at least 1 or 2 pieces of chicken........I always ask them to put it in a paper bag though as I like the coating to remain crispy and the styrofoam container steams it and doesn't do it justice. ;
