One of our favorite spots in GR! Good selection of beers, a growing list of NA beverages, very unique and delicious foods, and being inside a beautiful piece of GR history creates an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a beer or dinner in! Sometimes a big sports game will be projected inside which is cool. This summer they have a larger menu than normal which has been fun. My only thing is: wishing there were more vegetarian options for meals (beyond apps). My husband is a strict vegetarian and for at least a year now they have only had one veg friendly dinner option and it's suuuper spicy more options there would be a welcome change! Vegetarian options: Limited for meals, but many appetizers are veg friendly Parking: Paid street parking in front and behind the restaurant until 5 or 6pm M F, free shared parking lot Kid friendliness: Bier garden is a better spot for kids, there seems to often be kids around when we go. I don't believe there is a kid specific menu Wheelchair accessibility: Zooming around is definitely do able, tables and chairs might be tight but there are many tables at appropriate height for wheelchairs, chairs that can be removed from booths, etc. Entrance is wheelchair accessible as well

Elsie was our server, and they were fantastic! Steered us right on the dessert and their special Star Wars specials. Thank you!

For us BV is a great reliable neighborhood place. Want to give a special shoutout to Elsie. She’s fabulous and always steers us with great pairings, so much so that we lament that she’s never our server! What’s up with that?

Long time fan and enjoyer of Vivant and I have neglected to submit a review over the years and I'm finally getting around to doing so.The kitchen and food specials are always phenomenal and I've never been disappointed or left with any leftovers.Their beer offerings are some of my favorites in the local scene. Contemplation, wizard burial ground, tropical saison and any of their rotations of sours are always a treat depending on the time of year.Tonight I stopped in with my fiance for a quick bite and beer before closing and had the pleasure of being attended to by Elsie and they were absolutely fantastic!
