Social Kitchen and Bar Grand Rapids

What a fantastic brunch! A friend from Michigan brought us to this restaurant during our visit for a wedding (we are from Cincinnati). I ordered the steak and eggs and it absolutely blew me away. Everything is made fresh and incredibly delicious. The restaurant has a charming aesthetic with vintage art pieces and wooden decorations throughout. I highly recommend dining here!

If you haven't tried the social bacon in the Grand Rapids area, you must visit The Social Kitchen at the downtown market. Order their thick-cut bacon in syrup, a delicious $9 treat that you won't want to miss. With a variety of other food and drink options, friendly staff, and a beautiful ambiance, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

The food was very good and the service was also good. You don't have a good design of beer selection, although it's quite disappointed. The menu seems too expensive, but if you go between 3:00 and 6:00, everything is halfway away... everything. Things that I had, which were good, belong to the bacon, which are like 1/2 thick, frits (which come on a massive baking sheet), shells (that is an appetizer, but a Entree size), shrimps Cobb Salat (that was huge and fantastic), the Diner Burger (that is one of the best burgers I ever had) and shrimp tacos (which was sad on a special menu). We had the brussel sprouts appetizer recommended us as the house Favorit and I 't care for them they were unarabley salty and targeted overdone... but too much so.

Good restaurant, cool design, delicious menu and good beer selection. I got the wet burrito with chicken. Very good, but it's a lot of food. Everything in a good place. Next time, I'd probably try one of the pizzas.

The burger we ordered was done incorrectly and they corrected it right away. They gave my friend no silverware to spread his ketchup and mustard so he had to use my coffee spoon. The food was delish! I had a turkey burger that was Divine and the chips were tasty. The honest mistakes were easy to ignore because we will be coming back.
