Sanitary Seafoods - Grand Rapids

This restaurant serves a really large roasted fish that I have been enjoying for years. My favorite dishes are the cod (crispy, seasoned with salt and pepper), Mozzarella Sticks, and Jalapeño Poppers (unavailable at the moment due to supply chain issues during my visit). I recommend calling ahead to preorder if you want to try the Jalapeño Poppers.

This restaurant in Grand Rapids is the perfect spot for fresh seafood and fast food options. The quality is absolutely fantastic and every time I visit, I am impressed by the food. The staff are extremely friendly and always eager to chat. They even recognize me when I return, which is a rare level of customer service these days. The food is always freshly cooked, including delicious homemade bread and fried options. They also offer bulk/uncooked fish for those who want to cook at home. Overall, a must-try spot with a great variety of options.

I recently enjoyed another fantastic fish meal at this restaurant. The new chef did an excellent job preparing my order. I highly recommend supporting this establishment, as it is well worth it. They are open Tuesday through Saturday.

Just out. You can call and order. I liked her fried cod. The coating was light, golden and a little crispy, but long enough cooked that the fish was done in the middle. Appropriate prices. 1/2 lb for only $5. Very nice people are running it. I'll go.

Sanitary Fish is a tiny hole-in-the-wall shop but don't let that fool you. The food they serve is delicious. They have several different kinds of fish with many different seasonings to add. I had the ocean perch basket with sea salt and pepper. I can't wait to return and try more fish/seasoning combinations. I also tried their crab cakes and hush puppies which were both excellent!
