Georgina's - Grand Rapids

Georgina is one of those restaurants that I feel Grand Rapids may not be quite ready to support fully, but it undeniably stands out as the best fusion restaurant in the city. Both Asian and Latin dishes are excellent in their own right, and the combinations are thoughtfully crafted and inventive. The cocktail menu is diverse and delightful, although the beer selection is a bit lacking; however, the wine and cocktail offerings more than make up for it. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is nice enough that you might want to dress up a bit, and you should expect to spend around $50 per person if you sample a few dishes and enjoy a few drinks. I highly recommend it. Visit while they’re still around, as Grand Rapids has a tendency to close down restaurants that lack broad appeal. Don’t miss trying the Drunken Noodles and Peanut Curry!

This restaurant is a lovely addition to Wealthy Street, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating! They have some intriguing and unique dishes, like Bikap served in a stone dish. The menu is quite diverse, which is perfect if your group can't decide on a particular cuisine. While the food is delicious, I found it to be a bit too rich for my taste. Additionally, I think the entire menu and drink prices are somewhat on the high side for Grand Rapids. A dinner for two, including drinks, tends to be around $70.

Great experience. Lively atmosphere and great staff. Maybe a bit loud if your intention is a quiet meal for two. Large menu with unique choices. I was somewhat disappointed by my choice, the pages seemed a bit dirty. But I'll try something else again. My wife's meal was very delicious.

Georginas then connects Latin and Asia/Thai to another level. The menu is so unique and you can't do anything wrong. If you are in Curry, try the pineapple curry (prepared with Latin meat and puts a spin on a Thai classic that does not disappoint) When you go on a Friday or Saturday, I recommend making a reservation and sitting early on the bar and order a handicraft cocktail.

The restaurant has a contemporary vibe and offers innovative fusion cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming, though the prices are somewhat elevated. However, the food is quite delicious.
