El Haragan - Grand Rapids

From the moment I walked in, I knew I loved this place. It felt authentic, and as someone who can be a tough critic when it comes to Mexican cuisine, I was impressed. The service was fantastic, and it made my experience all the more enjoyable. In my opinion, if the rice isn't good, the food usually falls flat. However, everything—from the salsa and chips to the beans—was outstanding. I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos with Mai's homemade tortillas, and the meat was tender and bursting with flavor. My daughters’ kids' meals also came with generous portions. When it was time to head back to the car, I realized my sons had left their pacifiers at the table. As I opened the car door to retrieve them, an employee noticed and came to help me out. I absolutely loved my experience here and will definitely be returning. Puro amor!

The woman and I go 40 minutes to eat here. We never had a bad experience and the service is very fast. Drinks are always full. Price right for quality.

I frequently visit El Haragan for both lunch and dinner. The food is consistently excellent, regardless of what I choose. The service is generally very good as well. I've recommended this place to several friends, and they all had a great experience. In my opinion, it's the best Mexican restaurant in the northeast section of Grand Rapids.
